2025 DWRA MEMBERSHIPS
DWRA is a 501C3 Organization with membership.
We offer rowing education, training programs and lessons to the public with certified USRowing Coaches.
PROVISIONAL MEMBERS
If you are new to DWRA you are considered a Provisional Member. A Provisional member has use of the club facilities and equipment, but may not vote for one year. Senior membership is available following one year as a “member in good standing” A “member of good standing” requires the payment of all dues, fees and fulfillment of volunteer hours.
All Provisional Members pay a one-time initiation Fee
INITIATION FEE: All Provisional members are required to pay a one-time initiation fee.
Initiation includes a skill assessment (performed by a DWRA coach, introduction to the club facility and equipment, and a familiarity tour of our waterways
SENIOR MEMBER A rowing member of “good standing” for one year.
FAMILY add an experienced family member to your Senior Membership. Family: spouse & children, single same residence. No pro-rating
YOUNG ADULT: experienced sculler age 18 - 21 No pro-rating
NON-RESIDENT : An experienced adult sculler who is a member in good standing at a club 100+ miles outside our community or country. After a skill assessment this member may schedule a club boat for their visit(s) and row with another member.
PADDLE SPORT : Adult with paddle sport experience. This membership includes all the same benefits and responsibilities as rowing members without use of club rowing equipment. Note: DWRA does not own paddle equipment for your use. No pro-rating

Member Responsibilities: DWRA is a cooperative club whose members share ongoing and scheduled maintenance responsibilities. The annual individual volunteer commitment is 10 hours.

SUMMER ERG & COFFEE CLUB

Rowers, non-rowers and paddlers alike enjoy spending time together at our boathouse located on the historic Lawrence Fisher Mansion property and Grayhaven Canal. Join DWRA members for an erg session or on the patios for coffee & treats…maybe a little fishing…. club activities and social events are available year round for this group.
