If you are a sculler who has never raced and would like to learn this will be a perfect introduction.
Open to non-members
All community rowers intermediate – competitive skill level may sign up!
*5 person minimum for racing
Warm up + 1 - 2 races
SCHEDULE: 6:15 - 8AM

IMPORTANT! Registration Fee (one time) $30
Race fee: $40 includes equipment, coach, insurance. Bring your own boat if you prefer!
*Members pricing available.
Feel free to bring your own boat, however there is no discount for providing your own shell.

How it works:
· After warm-ups there will be 3 races within a 2 hour race day
· The first race will be 2K for the elite team of rowers
· 2 remaining races will include all categories novice, intermediate and elite, divided by start points. 1000+ meter races to a marked finish. Because of the staggering of boats some classes will row longer distances.
· Boats will be aligned at the starts by skill level and boat class.
· Passing: Novice do not give way to Intermediate or Elite rowers.
Intermediate and Elite rowers must follow USRowing rules of racing for passing rowers
· A medal for each category (3) will be awarded weekly and passed to the next winner each week.
Race days are a separate fee for the duration of 3 weeks, in alignment with the Skill Development Camp schedule
*Stormy weather…. Race days will be moved to ergs in the boathouse
