DWRA offers quality programs with an experienced, certified staff. We maintain small groups with a low coach to athlete ratio for maximum learning, safety and fun.
Membership is not required for participation in lessons or camps at DWRA, however registration is required for all programs
Registration and payments are required in advance of the start of programs and prior to scheduling lessons.

Policies: If registration numbers fall below our minimums and the the costs of running the program exceed its revenue, we may choose to alter or cancel the program. In most cases you will be offered services at an equal or greater value in the same year.
Attendance & Commitment
Rowing is a team sport that relies on consistency. To maximize learning and honor team responsibility, athletes are expected to attend all scheduled practices.Injuries/Non-Rowing Participation: If an athlete is unable to row due to a minor injury (but is otherwise healthy), they are encouraged to attend, join the coach in the launch, and learn from a different perspective.
Absences & Make-ups: No make-up sessions or refunds are provided for missed practices.
Catch-Up Option: If an athlete misses a session and wishes to catch up, private lessons may be purchased separately.
Weather: Safety is DWRA’s top priority for our staff and students. If wind and water conditions are not appropriate for the lesson skill level the coach may choose to practice in our canal(s). In the case of extreme heat index or unsafe weather conditions we may choose to cancel the lesson. We make the call as early as possible but also have to respond to weather conditions as they develop, so in some cases we may have to cancel relatively close to practice start times. This is for the safety of the student. If a practice is ended early due to weather conditions there is no make-up.
